Hi everyone !
Today, since we are all (I think) in quarantine, I decided to share another recipe because being at home makes me really enjoy my cooking.
This is an old recipes that I used to do even in my first old days of Uni, and I still enjoy it now.

INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken breast (half of a large one/three people)
- Soy sauce (5-6 tbsp)
- Lemon (5-6 tbsp)
- Olive oil (4 tbsp)
- Honey (4 tbsp)
- Veggies of your choice (as much as you prefer, to be cooked/steam/stir fry). My favourite is savoy cabbage but here I’m using black cabbage)
METHOD
To start prepare a marinade by mixing soy sauce, honey, olive oil and lemon juice. In this you are going to put the chicken cutted in slices.
I usually marinate the chicken for a maximum of 15-20 minutes, if you want a stronger taste you can marinate it for longer.
In the meanwile peel the carrot and remove the central part of the black cabbage leaves.
Steam the black cabbage and the carrots, until the cabbage is soft and the carrots still have a bit of crunch.
Cut the steamed carrots in round slices and tear in pieces the steamed black cabbage.
Then take a saucepan and add a little bit of olive oil and the vegetables on a medium heat.

When the veggies are warm add the marinated chicken.
Let the chicken cook directly on the pan for a couple of minutes turning the slices a little bit.

Then mix everything and keep it on the heat until the chicken is fully cooked and the marinade starts to resemble a glaze (thanks to the honey).

Then it’s ready!
I like to top it with white sesame seeds (sesame seeds obsessed over here!)
